Overview

CogX Group Ltd ("CogX", "we", "us") is committed to respecting your privacy. This site is designed to collect as little personal data as possible while still providing a useful experience. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell your data, and we do not set cookies for analytics. The only personal data we hold about you is what you choose to give us via the enquiry forms on this site, with your explicit consent.

Analytics: PostHog (Cookie-Less)

We use PostHog for basic, anonymous website analytics. Our PostHog integration is configured in cookie-less mode with memory-only persistence. This means:

• No cookies are set on your device. PostHog runs entirely in memory and does not persist any data in your browser between sessions.
• No personal identification. We do not track individual users across sessions. Each page load is treated as an independent, anonymous event.
• What is tracked: anonymous page views, general usage patterns (such as which sections are visited), and basic device/browser information. This helps us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
• No consent banner required. Because we do not set cookies or store persistent identifiers, no cookie consent banner is needed.

Form Data Collection

We operate two enquiry forms on this site: the general enquiry form on the homepage, and the dedicated salon-hosting form on /salons. If you choose to submit either, we collect the contact details and answers you provide in that form. The required fields are your name and email address; the homepage form also requires you to select at least one area of interest, and the salons form requires your organisation. All other fields are optional.

Lawful basis: your consent

We rely on your explicit consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) as the lawful basis for processing this data. You give that consent by ticking the consent box on the form before submitting it. The forms cannot be submitted without it. We keep a record of the exact wording you agreed to and the time you agreed alongside your submission, so we can demonstrate the basis on which we hold your data.

How we use and store your data

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry and to contact you about CogX in the future, in line with the consent you gave. Submissions are stored in the following systems:

• Cloudflare KV — submissions are written to a key-value store hosted on the same Cloudflare infrastructure that serves this site. This is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• Google Sheets — submissions are forwarded to a Google Sheet that the CogX team uses to track and respond to enquiries. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Neevie — our community management system. Your contact details are added to Neevie so that the CogX team can stay in touch with you about CogX in line with the consent you gave.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone outside CogX or the processors listed above.

Retention

We retain your contact details for as long as your consent remains in place. If you withdraw consent, or if you have had no meaningful contact with us for an extended period, we will remove your details from our systems.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, to ask us to delete it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it. Hosting: Cloudflare Pages

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit the site, your request is served from Cloudflare's global edge network. Cloudflare may process standard connection information (such as your IP address) as part of delivering the page to your browser. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not have access to individual visitor IP addresses or connection logs through Cloudflare Pages.

No Advertising or Third-Party Tracking

This site does not use advertising trackers, remarketing pixels, social media tracking scripts, or any other third-party data collection tools. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties.
